           This years camp has been organized and had the agenda created by Sensei Greg Scovell, many thank to Sensei Greg!                 

Featured Instrcutors:

Shihan Jason Armstrong (7th Dan, Shito-ryu) - lived with a "Master" in Japan and has placed in international kata & kumite events 

Kyoshi Valentino Cox (7th Dan) - his style is Uechi-Go-Ryu is a fusion of UechiRyu, Goju Ryu and Shorinji Kempo.

Sensei Garry Ed
wards (5th Dan, Shito-ryu) - International Karate Association world champion 1991 & Koshiki World Titles 3rd place 1994, Ozawa Las Vegas multi-placings 2010 

Renshi Jason Griffiths (5th Dan) - a grappling, kobudo and bunkai focused Okinanwan karate practitioner

Sensei Gavin Dix (4th dan, Shotokan) - national level traditional karate kumite and full-contact kick boxing experience

Sensei Greg Scovell (4th dan, Shito-ryu) - studying martial arts since 1972 he has trained in Japan, Malaysia, the USA and Australia. In addition to Shito-ryu (his core) he has also achieved black belt equivalents in KungFu, TaeKownDo & Kyokushin.

7:30-8:00       Kata Bunkai - Pinan/Heian  30min Kyoshi Valentino

8:00-8:30am     Stretch       30min        Sempai Jaki

8:30-10:00          Breakfast

10:00-12:00          Kata - Matsukaze & Naifanchin with Bunkai    1hr 40min        Sensei Garry & Renshi Jason Griffiths

                              2 Bunkai related to common test kata.  Pinan & Bassai          20min Sarven McLinton 

12-1:30pm:  Lunch

1:30-2:30pm      Ippon kumite    1hr        Sensei Greg

2:30-3:30pm   Strike Points and Techniques    1hr         Sensei Gavin

3:30-3:50       Kumite Foot work detail         20mins    Sarven McLinton

4:00–5:00pm

12:00-12:30    Formal Bow out

2 options for attendance & Cost: 


1. Training Activities only (no food/board)

  - $30 per half day (Traditional Japanese Karate Network dojo members) 

  - $40 per half day (for people from dojos who not a Traditional Japanese Karate Network member)

or 

2. Fri & Sat nite accommodation + all meals + training 
  - includes all meals  Sat &, Sun 
  - includes all training Activities & Classes 

  - price Adults $140 for 2 nights accomm., food & training (kids under 11 are $115)
     (for people from Dojos who are members of the Traditonal Japanese Karate Network) 

  - Non-Network members price: Adults $160 for 2 nights accomm., food & training
(kids under 11 are $135) i.e. for people from Dojos
     who are are not members of the Traditional Japanese Karate Network)
